Our Accommodation
The buildings at Doune were built thirty years ago using the stone from black houses abandoned in the early 19th century during the clearances. They have been known as The Stone Lodges ever since.
One Stone Lodge houses three ensuite bedrooms featuring:
- Uninterrupted views across the Sound of Sleat to the Skye Cuillin
- Comfy chairs and tea and coffee making facilities so you can make the most of the view
- Plenty of space to relax and a wooden vaulted ceiling
- King size or twin beds
- Mezzanine deck with two single beds for children or adventurous adults.
The Second Stone Lodge includes our cosy communal dining room and a further ensuite bedroom known as the Old Bothy, which has:
- Uninterrupted views across the Sound of Sleat to the Skye Cuillin
- A comfy chair and tea and coffee making facilities so you can make the most of the view
- Space to relax and a wooden vaulted ceiling
- Double bed
- Writing desk.
